As a sales clerk, you are in charge of helping customers find what they are looking for and try to interest them in the merchandise. This means you need to know the product’s available, the product features, how to use it, and how much it sells for. This also requires working as a cashier at times to complete the sale. Managerial
Every department needs supervision. Manager positions can vary across the company from retail managers, merchandising managers or customer service managers. IN these positions, you are responsible for individuals or a team of associates.
Merchandising
Buyers seek to purchase goods for the business. They try to obtain the best products at the lowest price. This job may also include the planning of sales promotions, tracking inventory levels, or working with suppliers.
Customer Services
In customer service jobs, you may interact with customers to answer their question about products or handle complaints, either by phone or in person.
